Baelo Claudia: una joya romana frente al Atlántico

En la costa de Cádiz, junto a la espectacular playa de Bolonia, se encuentra Baelo Claudia, uno de los yacimientos romanos más importantes y mejor conservados de España. Fundada a finales del siglo II a.C., esta antigua ciudad romana tuvo una intensa actividad comercial gracias a su conexión marítima con el norte de África. Su principal riqueza provenía de la producción de garum, una salsa elaborada con pescado muy apreciada en todo el Imperio Romano. Hoy, recorrer Baelo Claudia es una experiencia única. El visitante puede caminar entre las antiguas calles y descubrir espacios emblemáticos como el foro, la basílica, el teatro romano, los templos y las antiguas factorías de salazón, todo ello con el mar como telón de fondo. Además de su enorme valor histórico, el enclave destaca por su entorno natural privilegiado.
